Cavity-Optomechanics Lab

This lab houses the primary set-up that was used in the first ground-state cooling (2011) and optical squeezing experiments (2012).  It houses a fiber taper testing set-up for wafer-scale characterization of devices in a STP environment, a continuous flow He cryostat capable of fiber taper testing devices down to 4K and pressures of 10-6 Torr, and a set-up for fiber end-fire testing and v-groove alignment.
